Description

Field Engineer - Electrical Heating & Heat Pump Manufacturer

 Midlands Region

  • Electrician or have Electrical 18th edition certification?
  • Do you have Electrical Fault-finding experience?
  • Maybe Field Service Engineer or Electrician experience?

Manufacturer of specialist electrical energy efficient heating solutions which include heat pumps, electrical heating & ventilation, are seeking a Electrician, Electrical Improver or Electrical Field Service Engineer to cover the Midlands area. 

The Position

Based from home, you will provide in warranty repairs, technical support & service to consumers, while complimenting & supporting trade and service partners on a range of electrical heating & renewable products which includes; Electrical Heating Appliances, Heat Pumps, Renewables, Cylinders, etc.

The company's Engineers represent the company across a wide range of issues from warranty repairs and providing on-site support & training installers & service agents, through to handling technical issues on a client’s product.

The Person

  • Electrical Competent – Fault finding
  • Electrician Qualified - 18th Edition
  • Fault-finding & Multi-meter experience
  • Motivated, self-starter able to adopt a flexible approach to working
  • Communication skills, able to deal with both the public & trade
  • Able to undertake travel across the region
  • Full UK driving licence

Advantageous

  • Plumbing or Unvented water systems - advantage
  • HVAC, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration or Heat Pump experience – advantage
  • F-Gas Refrigeration – advantage
  • Gas ACS CCN, HTR - advantage
  • Plumbing & Heating system design - advantage
  • Heat Pump installation & fault-finding – advantage 

 

You will be quality driven, customer focused and possess excellent communication skills, a friendly, courteous manner and the determination to meet and exceed customer requirements.

Full product training will be provided to the successful candidate.

Salary Package 

  • Monday to Friday working (no weekends, no callout)
  • Mon to Thurs 8.30-5, Fri 8.30-4
  • To £40,000 salary (based on skills)
  • Company vehicle with private use option
  • 33 days holiday (25 days holiday + stats)
  • Laptop, mobile phone, uniform, tools, pension scheme, etc.
