Technical Trainer - Heat Pumps
Heat Pump or Air Conditioning Trainer Assessor or Training Manager
Hybrid & Hampshire based
As a world leader in intelligent electric heating and renewable energy solutions, we are at the forefront of developing highly efficient and smart connected products in our quest towards achieving the electrification of heat and low carbon home heating solutions.
Reporting to the Head of Technical and Training, you will be responsible for the design & delivery of product training for the new Heat Pump product range, along with the full range of Heating & Ventilation products.
This is a Hybrid role, however it will be initially predominantly based within their Hampshire Training & Technology centre.
You will work closely initially with internal stakeholders including R&D, sales & technical support, followed by external partners delivering & designing training supporting their product range.
The Role
- Deliver and facilitate technical training to customers and employees.
- Designing training programmes for future product release
- Managing your own time and workload - contributing to the national team success.
- Contributing to the performance and reputation of our training function.
- Manage the training budget to ensure efficiency
The Candidate
Able to work within our Hampshire offices initially up to 3 days a week, this is a Hybrid role which will require some potential travel from time to time.
You will be able to design, deliver & support the training of individuals on our range of Heat Pumps & associated electric heating & ventilation products.
Essential requirements:
- Able to work from the Hampshire offices
- Proven experience in product training – with Heat Pump, Air Conditioning or associated products
- Create training content including E learning, webinar, seminar, tutorial videos
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence as some UK travel may be required
Desirable:
- F Gas certification
- Gas certification
- Electrical qualifications
- TAQA/A1 Assessor Award or equivalent
- TAQA/V1 Internal Verifier Award or Equivalent
- A Training / Learning and Development qualification such as C&G 7300, 6318 or equivalent – and/or previous experience of successful working within a vocational learning environment
Remuneration & Benefits
Monday to Friday with some possible UK travel.
