We are currently working partnership with a leading manufacturer of steam boilers and equipment to recruitment a number of engineers along the M6 corridor to continue the development of their team.

They are looking for reliable and enthusiastic Combustion Service Engineers to join our growing Service Team.

This is a highly varied role requiring the ability to deal with change and adapt to new processes.

The ideal candidate will be from an industrial steam and hot water boiler background, with a good knowledge of combustion and industrial multi fuel burners, however additional training will be provided for the right applicant.

Combustion Service Engineer;

Duties and Responsibilities;

Ø Boiler servicing and repair work

Ø Commissioning

Ø Gas maintenance

Ø Gas safety

Ø Upgrade work

Ø Site Surveys

Ø Fault finding (gas and non-gas)

Ø Risk assessment

Ø Other ad-hoc work

Qualification Requirements;

Ø COCN1 – Core Commercial Gas Safety

Ø CODNC01 Changeover Domestic - Commercial NG – Alternate to COCN1

Ø ICPN1 First Fix Installation of Commercial Pipework

Ø CIGA1 Indirect Fired appliances

Ø TPCP1 Testing & purging >1m3

Ø BMP1 Gas Boosters not exceeding 0.5bar

Ø CoNGLP1 PD Core Changeover (Nat Gas to LPG)

It is essential that you have a multi-disciplined service background, preferably time served with experience on industrial steam and hot water boilers being preferred

You must be able to work well under pressure and using own initiative but also be a team player. Excellent customer service skills are also a must!

Basic salary plus company van (personal use available) . Overtime. Travel paid door to door.
