Maintenance Manager

East London Venue

£39,500 plus company benefits

We are looking to recruit a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance operations and ensure the smooth running of my clients facilities. My client is a leading Hospitality and Catering Company and this role is located at their flagship venue is East London.

The role is predominantly looking after the following areas;

  • Catering equipment assets.
  • Building Fabric in areas where my client is located
  • Catering light equipment
  • Plan annual services
  • Minor repairs such as door furnishings, shelving etc.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the upkeep of all machinery, equipment, and facilities is up to date at all times.
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate routine maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and structural issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement cost-effective maintenance strategies to reduce downtime and extend the life of equipment.
  • Oversee the implementation of maintenance projects, ensuring that timelines and budgets are met.
  • Monitor and report on maintenance performance, identifying areas for improvement.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of multi trades, plumbing / electrics
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Leadership abilities and experience in managing a diverse team.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software (CMMS).
  • Familiarity with safety and regulatory compliance standards.
